I wish I lived in The South. I mean south like Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama kind of south. Missouri is close but not close enough. I could and would live off of sweet tea, any fried food, gravy, and the ability to say y'all without abandon or getting frowned upon. I think Paula Deen and I could be best friends. Butter, butter, butter.
When I was visiting Evangel this weekend, I said y'all frequently. I didn't notice it until I kept getting teased about it and "my accent." Apparently I have a little twang as they said. Ummm alright then.
They also thought it was funny I said y'all because I don't live in the south. Heck I live 0.8 miles from the Arkansas border. As my mother says in fine hick spirit, "spitting distance from the border." I think Missouri is close enough to count.
Also, my friend Hannah posted this, this morning. I died laughing because we both had a "discussion" about it when we went to Israel together last month. We were deciding how many is enough to be all y'all. So there you have it.

we live in North Western Missouri and have my entire life. My dad has the biggest southern drawl too! he says ya'll, warsh and the way he say oil and milk crack me up!!
