Spanish Song of the day: per my roommate

Am I the only one who puts a song on repeat once I fall in love with it? I listen to it over and over and over again. 

This happens often with me especially if I'm cleaning my room or having a dance party with Jenae! :) I wasn't a huge fan of Spanish music before we roomed together, but recently some of the songs she's showed me, I'm hooked. Hello Pitbull ;) 

PS: i can't believe it's been almost a year since we met each other. and I can't believe that I'm halfway done with this semester. 

Summer '12 

Today, it's this song by Tacabro called Tacata. 

It's so catchy and upbeat and it makes me wanna go HAM and dance all afternoon. Dance parties are perfect for midterm destressing right? Of course.

On that note, we're off to go tanning and eat ice cream. Er, and maybe study too. 

New favorite foundation: Dior Forever

I've never been one to splurge and buy makeup that was super expensive.

I usually get my stuff from Target or order Mary Kay from my mama for super cheap. Hello, I'm a broke college girl. 

My suitemate's mom is a makeup artist for Dior at the mall. About a month ago I went in for a makeover just for fun. I ended up walking away with a $50 foundation and it was the best $50 I've ever spent.

I'm hooked. I will probably never go back to the cheap stuff! 

This is the best foundation I've ever tried. I have tried other liquid foundations and I HATE the feeling on my skin. They make my skin feel nasty and cakey. This stuff? Makes my skin look and feel flawless! 

This leaves my skin feeling light and airy. I can barely tell that I have anything on. 

You only need a little bit of this stuff. You can apply it with your fingers or with a foundation brush. I've tried both. Either works :)

If y'all buy this, you have to let me know!! You won't be disappointed!

I'm SO excited it's Wednesday. Two more days of class and I'm going HOME!!! woooo!!

The Bachelor- The Final 3

I don't know about you, but I'm SO excited for tonight!! Who do y'all think Sean will send home? 

Ashlee: I like her, but I think she is too serious. Sean loves to have fun and she is just too serious. On a personal side note, she's older than Sean and I don't like that. ha

Lindsay: She is my FAV! She is so darn cute and loves to have fun. I think Sean needs to marry that girl. If you would have asked me about this on opening night, mmm I would have said send the cray cray wedding dress girl HOME!! now, I kinda love her :) 

Catherine: She loves to have fun, but I don't see Sean settling down with her. I see them being best friends, not anything more.

My roommate and I made a trip to Walmart to stock up on soup, coffee, and some necessities.

Just one day. One day to sleep in, skip chapel, not go to stats class, and be lazy.

My Weekend!

My weekend was pretty relaxed.

Friday night my frannnns and I went ice skating! besides me tripping/shaking/wobbling/ and looking like I was seizing on the ice, it was fantastic.

After ice skating grabbed some pizza before we went to see This is 40. and this def happened when we left....and we left in a hurry hahahaha

This is 40 was r-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s-!!! That's all.

I woke up at 1 on Saturday afternoon, ate some breakfast and worked on a little homework! 

I watched EU beat Culver Stockton by 1 point!! Whoooo!!! 

Sunday, I literally did accounting homework all day. Fan freaking tastic!!

I lost my BDubs virginity last night and it was worth it. 18 Boneless Honey BBQ wings split with my friend Madison! and then before I knew it, is happened...

My friend Christian sent out this snap to all of my friends....er.mah.gosh!! I died.

Sunday night, my suitemate came in literally threw wax on my face. I was laughing so hard. I was looooong overdue for an eyebrow/lip wax...annnnd I can't believe I'm about to post this picture....

It burned so.bad. like ohmygoshitscaldedmyfaceoffbad

It's OK Thursday

It's OK to match your girlfriends and plan to wear red dresses! :)

It's OK to be completely hooked on The Bachelor and think Sean is f.i.n.e.
                 on that note, thank God that Tierra is gone!! she was too much!

It's OK to want summer so bad and be glad that it's almost 60 degrees today! 

It's OK to stalk Sean Lowe's big sister's blog! Don't judge ;) 

It's OK to think the phrase "single awareness day" is completely stupid. just stop.

It's OK to think Chocolate Fudge Poptarts are the best midnight snack.

I'm in the process of updating my About Me page today.

It's terrible I know.

I'm sitting in the dorm room laughing at how much I've changed in just 6 months. This is what my "About Me" page was last summer. Shoooot. This is embarrassing.

My name is Emily. Thank you for stopping by to my little 'ole blog. I just started blogging a little over a year ago. So far, I LOVE it! It's been a great way for me to connect with other people and I heart the community I've found. Heck, y'all are awesome.

I am dramatic, loud, fun, and sometimes downright obnoxious. I snort when I laugh and I have no shame. 

I love my family. I have 3 siblings, 2 parents, and I love being a big sister.

See also: as of right now, I never want to be married or have children. Ever. If I do have children, they will be blond haired, blue eyed boys.My mom said she is going to laugh the day I end up with twin girls with my features: brown hair and eyes. minor details.

I just graduated High School and I'm glad those 4 years are behind me! College is my next step:Evangel University in the Fall (2012), studying accounting/international studies. Excited, but not ready to be freshmeat again!

I have the best 2 jobs ever; Cold Stone and Adventure Ziplines. I work 60 hours a week doing anything from making ice cream to driving an ATV and making zipline reservations. It's the life y'all.

I have a BIG sweet tooth and enjoy chocolate, starbursts, raw cookie dough, ice cream, and junior mints. Sometimes, I have NO self control.

I'm starting to run and I kinda love it! My goal: run a 10K. 

I have brown eyes and I'm 5'8 with extremely long legs. Hence the new, upcoming ,blog title, Fate from Five Eight. 

I love Coffee, especially if it's Starbucks. Sometimes, I try to be new and creative but usually get one of 3 things: Iced Caramel Macchiato, Double Chocolate Chip Frappe, or Passionfruit Sweet Tea Lemonade. 

I love Summer and anything that comes with it; Chacos, lake days, iced coffee, sleeping in, sunburns, flip-flops, sunglasses, shorts, and tanks.

I'm addicted to Target and spend too much money every time I go in. Problem.

I'm saved by grace (a whole lot of it). I'm a recovering good girl and challenge you to read the book Grace for the Good Girl by Emily Freeman, a blogger! I'm trying to love Jesus with all my heart and I'm thankful that He is there to catch me when I fall. 

I'm real, honest, and try to be funny. Key word: try.

Hi there.

People told me that life would fly by after I graduated high school and I didn't believe them. I can't believe how fast life is passing by.

Midterms are coming up, then spring break and finals.


I'll be done my first year of college. Is that even possible?

I'm trying to take it all in. I'm trying to figure out who I am. I'm trying to make friends. I'm trying to grow up. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my major. It's a process.
